Welcome to Lawenda

Lawenda Boutique Apartments was created out of love for historic architecture, classic interiors, natural materials and beautiful style. In our house, we combine the passion for saving historic building with the desire to create an intimate, cozy place.

Following second renovation, we invite you to the new Lawenda, which offers 11 spacious and stylishly furnished apartments. There are comfortable beds with soft linen, sofas with pillows on which you can rest, beautiful wooden kitchens covered with stone countertops and filled with beautiful porcelain tableware. The oak floor makes a creaking sound, but it’s natural in the 125-year-old house.

Lawenda is located in the heart of the Kudowa-Zdroj, in the neighborhood of the Stołowe Mountains National Park. Słoneczna Street is quiet, a bit to the side, but close to everything. Next to the house is a sheltered green garden with a giant pine tree and shade, so nice on hot days. We have our own, monitored car park, where you can safely leave your car, and the entire building is non-smoking area.

We saved a more than 100-year-old building from ruin so that we could share it with you. We believe that, like us, you will fall in love with this place.

Hospitality since 1898

We came to Kudowa-Zdrój in 2004 and saw a ruined house. The building had a very nice shape, with many interesting details. It belonged to the State Holiday Fund and had been abandoned for several years.

In 2005, a thorough renovation began. We tried to restore the house to the beauty hidden under layers of oil paint and synthetic carpet. We kept the wooden creaking ceilings and extracted beautiful openwork stairs from under the ugly plywood. The wooden details of the balconies have been renovated, as have the original wrought iron railings.

The search for the history of the building led us to the 19th century. We discovered that the building had been a guest house from the very beginning and was called Willa Erika.

And so, from Erika through Kryniczanka from the times of the FWP, we came to Willa Lawenda, which opened its doors to guests in 2008. After 13 years of functioning as a bed&breakfast, another breakthrough moment came. During the pandemic, we decided to renovate and change the concept to boutique apartments. Today we invite you to the beautiful classic and intimate interiors of 11 apartments.

Chill in the garden

In our large garden there are several magnificent, very old trees. The most valuable is the pine inhabited by the black squirrel and a pair of kestrels.

In the morning, guests are woken up by the singing of birds that willingly visit this cozy place. In May, at the entrance to the building, beautiful rhododendrons delight the eye.

A little later comes the time for daylilies and hydrangeas. On hot days, it's nice to laze around on a sunbed and take a breath in the shade of trees.
